Burglary resistance tests accordance to EN 1627:2011 + A1:2016 (RC3+RC4)

Door model Gerlock Classic was tested in accordance EN 1627:2011 + A1: 2016 (EN 1628; 1629; 1630) standard for RC3.

First test EN 1628 measures resistance under static lauding to measure the overall mechanical strength of the door. During this test door leaf were pressed in 8 points with 6 kilo newton power.

Second test EN 1629 measures resistance to dynamic lauding, assesses the level of resistance to physical attack, without use of tools, such as kicking or shoulder barging.

ThirdtestEN 1630 is manual burglary attempt, which gauges the ability of the door to withstand attempts at forced entry using a selection of tools, over stipulated period of time (5 minutes pure breaking time, total test time 20 minutes)

 

Door model Gerlock Max was tested in accordance EN 1627:2011 + A1: 2016 (EN 1628; 1630) standard for RC4.

First test EN 1628 measures resistance under static lauding to measure the overall mechanical strength of the door. During this test door leaf were pressed in 13 points with 10 kilo newton power. 

Second testEN 1630 is manual burglary attempt, which gauges the ability of the door to withstand attempts at forced entry using a selection of tools, over stipulated period of time (10 minutes pure breaking time, total test time 30 minutes)

ThirdtestEN 1630 is manual burglary attempt, which gauges the ability of the door to withstand attempts at forced entry using a selection of tools, over stipulated period of time (7 minutes pure breaking time, total test time 20 minutes)

Any Gerlock security door models  are not less than FB 4 class, in accordance with EN1522/1523 standard, and can be upgraded to higher bullet proof level using special certified ballistic steel or other certified ballistic materials.
